Delet an existing xammp data base or joomla data base. Launch your xampp software or application on your computer system, star the first and second servers (apache & mysql), click on the mysql admin button this displays the mysql homepage the select the particular database that you really wants to delete the click on it and click on the drop tag at he upper side of the page. This brings up a confirm box askin you if really you wish to destroy the database then just take yes as an answer the page will then reload after this, this delete the database entirely the you can create another database with the same former database name.
