Networking


Making other computers to see your computer
Scroll to start menu on your computer system and click on my computer, at the left hand side of the my computer window there is an option that is named show my network place that is if you are using Window XP. Click on it and then you will also go the left hand side of the computer window and click on view network connections. The window will automatically change and display some connections including the local Area connection.
Right click on the local Area connection and then click on properties, immediately a dialog box appears, click on the internet protocol and click on properties by the side. At the on click choose the use the following IP address under IP address write this
192.168.40.0
And then press the tab key the following number will display at the next area 255.255.255.0 then click on the ok button, then click on the back button on the my computer window. Then if the is any computer connected to yours the will be some folders displaying on the screen of your computer system. Check to see on this site how to create the sharable folder.
(this is done if you have already connected other computers using the networking wire ore the modern)
